now what's special about today? Me neither, but I have just learned that 22 December is the Feast Day of none other than St Hunger, 866AD. Who he? All I can find out is that he was Bishop of Utrecht, Netherlands, who fled the diocese during an invasion by Normans. He died in Prüm, Germany.Prüm? Hell's bells, I'd never heard of that either. We miss out on a lot here in the remote East Anglian fens.
