If this is my lifeline, it must be a palmist's nightmare. Anyway, it's not as bad as it looks, should be healed in another 2 weeks or so. Meantime, I am milking it for all the sympathy I can get.....
Good heavens, Man!! I'm reading a bodice-ripper (the Outlander) about the border wars and Bonnie Prince Charlie and all that with major sword and dirk damage, but this looks WORSE!! I can't even imagine how you managed such a wound!

It is 3 o'clock in the morning here and I was skimming your online cookbook.....I am hungry now.....but better get some sleep instead of munching out...don't want to incur "love handles."

That looks really nasty for a palmist, a milkmaid or even an old scrote. Hope it heals quickly and that you haven't damaged any nerves.
