The Cure of Ars

For those in need of a saint, I offer St. John Vianney, Priest,  Feast day - August 4 Universally known as the Cure of Ars, St. John Mary Vianney was ordained a priest in 1815. Three years later he was made parish priest of Ars, a remote French hamlet, where his reputation as a confessor and director of souls made him known throughout the Christian world. His life was one of extreme mortification.
And you'll get no puns from me.

Punning possibilities can be reduced by acquiring for yourself an ASCII character selection widget on your 'puter - which will enable you to print an accented letter when one is required. Curé is then not recognisable as a treatment for any part of the anatomy.

Thank you, Anon, for this information. By coincidence, yesterday I had a chat with someone about the easiest way to produce diacritics on a pc. Neither of us knew about the widget you refer to.
I will track it down, but, to be honest, the good man of Ars will remain unaccented. It was too good a chance to miss.

Perhaps your PC runs on "Windows".

Free (as in freedom) Linux 'distros' provide it as part of the desktop - both Gnome and KDE have it in the drop down Apps. menu. Microsoft may require you to open your wallet and repeat after Mr Ballmer,"Help yourself"

I couldn't find such a widget for Windows either, only for Mac.

I see I was wrong to describe it as a widget, but this is the application I had in mind:
