Çekirdek

Nothing unusual about this dog, you might think. But a few days ago, it was found in a very poor condition, with its back legs tied together and the rope round its neck. God bless my friend, S, who took it into care; It is the third such dog that she has rescued. And may God judge the people who tied the animal so cruelly and left it to its fate.
The dog now has a name as cute as its face: "Çekirdek", Turkish for "pip". Let's wish Pip a long and happy life.

Unfortunately, there probably is/are no "God" or gods. So if you find out who did it please let me know. I'd like a chance to administer judgement and sentence.

I believe in God, and I leave judgment and punishment to Him.
All the same, I share your feelings of disgust at the person who committed this cruel act.

So if there is/are no God(s), persons who commit truly dreadful acts go unpunished in your universe. I see that as somewhat unfortunate.

You are right. I expressed myself badly. If someone breaks the law, they will be judged and punished accordingly, God or no God.
What underlies what I said before is my belief that we can judge and condemn the crime, but we should leave judgment about the person to God.
Thank you for your comments.
